The TSIA 2 is an essential component of the Texas Success Initiative program, aimed at helping colleges and universities evaluate your readiness for college-level coursework in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Score Reports

After testing, students can access their score reports via the Accuplacer Student Portal.

To access the Student Portal go to https://studentportal.accuplacer.org/#/studentisr Click on Information for Students, click on Texas Resources. Texas Resources include:

Access to TSIA2 Web-Based Study App
Student Brochure – Information for Students (prior to testing)
Student Brochure – Interpreting My Scores (after testing)
TSIA2 Sample Question (PDFs) ELAR and Mathematics

How to look up your scores:

Go to the ACCUPLACER student portal (link above). You’ll need to provide your name, date of birth, student ID (Your San Jac G#), and where you took the test (San Jacinto College).
Submit your information and click “Send Reports.” They will send a link to view and print your test results to the email address you provided when you took your TSIA2 test.
Check your email. If you don’t see an email with your TSIA2 score report, make sure you’re checking the same email address you gave when you took the test.

Each semester, the San Jacinto College Student Success Center offers TSIA2 Prep Sessions for students. Attendance is free, and no registration is necessary.

Testing Opportunities at GPISD CTE Early College HS:

All 9th graders are required to take the test prior to the start of their 9^th grade year.
All 9th and 10th graders will be scheduled to take the test at least once during the academic school year.
Additional opportunities will also be available for All Students to retake the TSIA2 at their convenience.

Becoming TSIA 2 Ready

Students will have numerous chances each year to retake the TSIA2 until they achieve the required scores to be deemed college-ready. It’s crucial to note that certain programs at San Jacinto College require students to be college-ready before they can embark on their college courses. To earn an Associate of Applied Science degree, Associate of Arts degree, or a Level II Certificate of Technology students must be college-ready in ALL areas.
